How many countless hours are spent organizing your digital music library?
How about the fact that most of the music you have goes unheard.
Here's what I recommend you do to remedy this situation:
Listen to internet radio.
You can use applications like iTunes or Last.fm to browse and listen to thousands of radio stations via the web. Save your disk space and spice up your audio palette all at the same time.
If you can, go cold turkey. Just delete your entire library, pick a station, and rock out. If you are an audiophile, an iPod owner, or fall victim to frequent internet outages, then keep only your all-time favorites. You know, the songs or albums that you could listen to over and over again without wanting to rip your hair out. For example, I have Daft Punk, John Legend, and 311 on my hard drive right now, but that's it. All my music needs are filled by internet radio stations like etn.fm.
